มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ร่วมกับ Guangdong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industry Park Development CO., Ltd. (GMTCM Park) จัดโครงการประชุมวิชาการด้านการแพทย์ดั้งเดิมและการแพทย์ทางเลือกสานความร่วมมือและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ 3 เรื่องได้แก่ ด้านนโบยาย ด้านวิชาการ และ ผู้ประกอบการ โดยจัดการประชุมในวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2560 ณ โรงแรม รอยัล ออคิด เชอราตัน โฮเท็ล แอนด์ ทาวเวอร์ส กรุงเทพมหานคร
รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ศิริเกษม ศิริลักษณ์ คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร เปิดเผยว่า
“มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ในฐานะเป็นแหล่งผลิตบัณฑิตแพทย์ และบัณฑิตด้านวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของด้านกระบวนการดูแลสุขภาวะของประชาชนในสังคมไทยซึ่งก้าวเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ ซึ่งต้องการดูแลสุขภาพในแนวทางการแพทย์ทางเลือก ในหลากหลายรูปแบบเน้นความเป็นธรรมชาติ เหมาะกับสภาพแวดล้อมและสังคมไทย จึงจัดให้มีโครงการประชุมวิชาการด้านการแพทย์ดั้งเดิมและการแพทย์ทางเลือกเพื่อเป็นเวทีสำหรับผู้เกี่ยวข้องที่สำคัญทั้ง 3 ฝ่าย ได้แก่ ภาครัฐ ภาควิชาการ และ ภาคเอกชนผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจการดูแลสุขภาพทางเลือก ยา สมุนไพร และโรงพยาบาล เป็นต้น ได้มีโอกาสมาพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ทำความเข้าใจ นำเสนอสิ่งที่ตนเองได้ดำเนินการ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ พัฒนามาตรฐานการแพทย์ดั้งเดิมในภูมิภาคอาเซียนนี้ ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ได้ทำความร่วมมือกับ Guangdong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industry Park Development CO., Ltd. (GMTCM Park) ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานภาครัฐใน Macau เป็นสถาบันที่ทำวิจัยและพัฒนา รวมทั้งให้การสนับสนุนภาคเอกกชนในการพัฒนามาตรฐานสมุนไพร ที่จะสามารถเข้าสู่ระบบตลาดในประเทศจีน ในภูมิภาคอาเซียนและทั่วโลกได้ รวมทั้งหารูปแบบในการดูแลสุขภาพสำหรับประชาชนซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากรัฐบาล Macau และ Guangdong ประเทศจีน
การประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นการต่อยอดจากการลงนามความร่วมมือ ทางวิชาการกับ Guangdong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industry Park Development CO., Ltd. (GMTCM Park) เมื่อปี 2559 นอกจากนี้ยังมีหน่วยงานที่ให้การสนุนอีกหลายหน่วยงาน ได้แก่ กรมพัฒนาการแพทย์แผนไทยและการแพทย์ทางเลือก สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา สาธารณสุขจังหวัดเสียมราฐประเทศกัมพูชา สมาคมแพทย์แผนจีนประเทศไทย โรงพยาบาลบางกระทุ่ม คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ร่วมนำเสนอบนเวทีการประชุมและจัดนิทรรศการ อันจะนำมาซึ่งประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งในการแลกเปลี่ยนด้านวิชาการ การสร้างความสัมพันธ์ และสานความร่วมมือในเรื่องการพัฒนาาการแพทย์ดั้งเดิมและการแพทย์ทางเลือกในภูมิภาคอาเซียนนี้จากนี้ไปสู่อนาคตต่อไป” รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ศิริเกษม ศิริลักษณ์ คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร” กล่าว

The Naresuan University in collaboration with the Guangdong-Macau Traditional Medicine Technology Industry Park Development Co., Ltd. (GMTCM Park) is holding the 2017 Traditional Medicine International Development Forum on the 27th of April 2017 at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Bangkok, Thailand. This event is organized to focus on the three major purposes: (1) policy-making, (2) academic, and the (3) entrepreneurship.
Associate Professor Dr. Sirikasem Sirilak, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Naresuan University (NU) said that “NU has been producing medical and medical sciences graduates, and its education centers on the welfare of the members of the Thai community. It has been a mission of the organization to help the community, specially the adults, to find alternative and natural ways to take care of their well-being. Thus, this event is an opportune time to discuss and exchange knowledge relative to Traditional and Alternative Medicine. Furthermore, this forum is a great opportunity for the academic, government and the private sectors to work together and exchange knowledge in relation to the development of the standards of Traditional and Alternative Medicine in the ASEAN Region.
The GMTCM Park is a research institute which develops quality standards of Traditional Medicine. It also supports private sectors which produce the herbal medicinal products, which are made available in the Chinese market as well as in other countries. This institution is supported by the government of Macau and Guangdong, China, and it also caters to the welfare of the citizens of these regions.
This year’s forum is a perpetuation of an MOU since 2016 between Naresuan University and GMTCM Park. It is joined by the different organizations namely: Department of Thai Traditional and Aternative Medicine; Thai Food and Drug Administration; Health Department of Siem Reap, Cambodia; Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor Association, Thailand; Bang Krathum Hospital, Thailand; Faculty of Public Health, Naresuan University, Thailand; and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University, Thailand. These organizations are collaborating to promote knowledge and entrepreneurship of Traditional and Alternative Medicine in the ASEAN regions from hereon and onwards.”
